Quiff Direction
and that other curly headed guy
- Friend:What is it like to feel alone in a crowd?
- Me:It's Friday. Bell rings dismissing class. Everyone rushes out of classrooms to catch the bus, grab a ride, meet their boyfriend/girlfriend, catch up with friends, makes plans to hit up the major party of the night. You walk through the halls, trying not to be noticed. Listening to all the chatter, plans being made, latest gossip, laughter. You look around you see friends hugging, couples kissing, girls talking, boys being boys. You walk empty, seemingly lost in the sea of hormones and acne. No one stops you to speak to you. No one grabs you for a hug. No one looks your way. You feel empty, and there's a longing within. It makes me you sick. Nauseated. But no one notices. This is how it feels to be alone.
"Harry's a little bit of a loner"
“They’re all quite tight but Harry’s a little bit of a loner. [Harry] wants to talk but doesn’t want to make conversation. You have to do all the talking. He just wants a bit of company. He’s always worried about his mum.” - Andy Davies, former bodyguard for One Direction
I still cry

“Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it’s not because they enjoy solitude. It’s because they...”
“Be a loner. That gives you time to wonder, to search for the truth. Have holy curiosity. Make your life worth living.”
