This is something I’m calling The Lucky Star Project.
The idea is simple. Every day you go without self harming (cutting, purging, bruising, scratching etc) you make a little white (or coloured if you have colour paper) Lucky Star and put it in a box or jar. (I’ve just used an old Maltesers box- which will hopefully be too small some day!)
But on the days when you slip up - which every one does - you still make a Lucky star, but you colour it in black. You will soon see your box of Lucky Stars grow and you can see your progress in the amount of white stars there are compared to black.
The stars are »really easy to make« and they are quite therapeutic to make too.
(In my box, there are 25 White Stars and 1 Black Star)
