I’ve made a Transition Fund campaign on GoFundMe !
I’m Kendra, a full time working-poor camab trans girl, and I’m in need of some financial assistance. I stuck a selfie on this post because people seem to like those.
Given the constant high upkeep costs and looming terror of medical bills for future surgeries, I’ve started a campaign to help me out. As of writing this, my car’s in fairly desperate need of some new tires and other replacement parts, and I’d much rather be able to afford that on my income than having to limit my transition progress.
I usually put my transition above other life expenses, but that isn’t feasible at this point. As a result, I’ve missed several weeks of hair removal treatments, and am currently incapable of driving to appointments. That really stinks!
It costs me around 84 cents for each day’s worth of HRT, so even a dollar helps. Every signal boost helps, too.
