so, first of all, in my first language homer, the poet, is called homeros, and i didn’t know his name was just ‘homer’ in english. over maybe the first 6 months i was here i kept seeing really deep quotes and the source was just 'homer’. the only homer i knew was homer simpson so i thought it was some kind of a joke. i literally thought it was a meme to post deep quotes and put homer simpson from the simpsons as the credit. you’re welcome
