What can never be understood is how much it can pain a person to be powerless in the wake of adversity. To not have the words to instantly shout out the anger and the hurt that consumes them in that moment. For silence and bottling up their pain to be their only option. A pen and paper will never fail me when I’m in desperate need of expressing that slightly unbearable heaviness in my chest. Once that ink spills across the page, drowning the paper with my sorrow, all the weighing frustrations of life are magically lifted.”
