gif mine Avatar A:TLA katara Avatar: the last airbender legend of korra the legend of korra lok I'm so sorry THESE PEOPLE OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I MADE I'M MAKING MYSELF SAD and I know zuko's still alive ( thankgod ) but katara doesn't see him that much anymore and they're maybe not as close as they were anymore and all her other friends have already passed away and she feels so lonely and this is her remembering all of the fun times she had with these people who she spent a year travelling the world with these people were her only family for a whole year and she loves them with all her heart but they are gone her friends and the love of her life are all gone and in the first gif when she's looking back on all those wonderful memories she smiles because even though she's filled with sadness she's so grateful to these people and she's happy she got to spend time with them and that is true friendship and love

doctor who mine Rose Tyler Tenth Doctor doctor x rose always but dwedit okay so let me tell you why I love this scene so the doctor has regenerated and rose is questioning everything she thought she knew about him and she used to know him well she used to love him even and she still does she isn't sure what he thinks about her anymore and he's been virtually comatose for a while when this christmas tree attacks and rose doesn't know who else to turn to and he did say he was still the same person so she takes a chance she asks him for help and it's a quiet intimate whisper that wakes him up not her yelling and she says 'help me' because he's the only one who can and he wakes up and he saves her because he is the same man and he will be there to save her whenever she needs him

gif robert downey jr. tony stark Chris Evans Chris Hemsworth Steve Rogers thor odinson mine 6 okay bear with me this is going to be a long rambly text post look at Thor okay he's not in Asgard but here because of his brother I PRESUME and like he doesn't know anyone but he's still this big fun person who is so OPTIMISTIC sometimes and it wounds me but being among mortals is fun for him I guess so okay then Steve who's like both out of Brooklyn and his element and his time he's not literally lost like Thor but still lost and I want to hug him and stuff he doesn't understand anyone and anything because of the ~generation gap~ and it's so much more heartbreaking than Thor because at least he has an EXCUSE he's a universe-travelling demigod on Earth for a vacay/stay-cay/other and earth is Steve's home and he's so out of his element I want to cryyyyyy but even worse than Steve is Tony because while Thor's away from home and Steve is out of his time Tony doesn't have an excuse like he sort of feels like he doesn't belong ANYWHERE because from young he's never really ~fit in first because he's the famous Howard STARK's son and second because he's this child prodigy and he's never really been given the opportunity to bond with anyone most of his friends are his employees but then IRON MAN YES TONY STARK NO and it just crushes him and then he's called in to join them and he's all I DON'T PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS because he's afraid he'd rather get himself thrown out early on then stay and have people say 'oh Tony it's not you it's us this is just not working out' better to not be part of something at all than told he can't be part of something FEELINGS HOUR

doctor who eleventh doctor mine:photoset I really love this PSD a lot okay Also that first gif was being annoying But can I just talk about this gifset for a minute though? The Doctor treats Earth and the human race as his second family of sorts He travels almost entirely with humans and he spends quite a lot of time on earth He loves humans and has made that very clear Especially during The Eleventh Hour when the Atraxi questions him about Earth And he says No but I've put a lot of work into it or whatever it was So it's really curious to see how the Doctor's character has evolved over time In Eleven's beginning he was still a bouncy little puppy He loved everything and particularly his curious little humans But as his character continues to grow I guess he starts to become more weary? I'm not really sure what it is but there is a noticeable change in his character It's not so much that he grows more skeptical of the humans More that he knows he's going to die I guess So he starts to finally put himself first instead of his humans I don't even know if I'm making sense anymore but let me continue In TIA he knows he's about to die So he remarks longingly about the humans that he loves so much Resigning himself to the fact he's going to die and leave Earth behind as a WIP But in Closing Time he's preoccupied with himself and his Farewell Tour Pretending that he doesn't care about his humans because he's going to leave them and pretending he doesn't care would make leaving them ... a lot easier But in the end he really does care and helps Craig save the earth from the Cybermen So I guess in true tl;dr versions The Doctor loves the Earth and the human race They're probably his favourite species

gif glee rachel berry Quinn Fabray ::: rachel and quinn *tv can i get you a side of feels to go with that !rachel and quinn !glee !rachel berry !quinn fabray 'i finally made it. i made a clean getaway. and i miss you. i miss you every single day.' she bought those passes with every intention of using them. she really did. but then… then she got to new haven and it was a chance a chance to be free from that uncomfortable tightening in her chest she's trying to be happy and maybe she told herself that having rachel in her life as a friend was better than nothing at all but it doesn't seem so true anymore. she's got to let go. and she does. she moves on. those biweekly emails from rachel stop causing her heart to race when she sees them pop up in her inbox and now it's less about avoiding her but more well she's got a new life thank you very much and she can mostly ignore the guilt now without even trying college is exciting and demanding with new people and new experiences to try it's easy to lose herself in that while calling it trying to find herself sometimes letting go of the past is part of growing up right? she's feeling better now more confident so it doesn't seem like the worst idea in the world when she gets that call from kurt she can handle it now and be that friend to rachel that she never really could before and she does and it's good to see rachel happy and thriving in the city because that's what she wanted but then this damn wedding happens and maybe it's just the day and the old flames coming together and the reminders of what life was and before she managed to brush off any old tingles but now she realizes all that moving on she did? maybe the best lie she ever told because she bought it herself because at least in that moment she's still the girl with the foolish heart. missing someone she's never really had
